We are looking for an experienced Node.js/Laravel Backend developer to be a part of Malaga-based development team.

The main purpose of the team is to help us build and maintain a commerce platform for a big ophthalmic company.

We are working with technologies such as Scayle Commerce Engine, AWS AppRunner, MariaDB, JS, PHP/Laravel (legacy), Datadog.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the middleware/integration layer of our Commerce Platform (Scayle)
  • Develop integrations and processes with other products in collaboration with the respective teams. For example: PIM Integration, OMS Integration
  • Control and monitoring of integrations and processes
  • Use CI/CD processes with a high coverage of automated tests

Programming languages: TypeScript, PHP (legacy)

Used frameworks: Node.js, Laravel (legacy)

Current tech stack: Scayle Commerce Engine, AWS AppRunner, AWS SQS, AWS API Gateway, S3, Lambda, Docker, MariaDB, PHP/Laravel (legacy), Datadog, GitHub

Requirements

  • Proven experience in software development, design of software architectures and test automation in the environment of commerce software
  • Be aware of working with customer facing software and the will to build the best solutions for our customers
  • Understanding of headless architectures and API-driven design
  • Used to work in collaborative, self-organized product team environment
  • Team player with an independent and agile way of working, high willingness to learn, good analytical skills and strong quality awareness
  • Ideally strong interest and experienced in AI supported development
