Lead QA engineer

We are building an alternative marketplace from the ground up for iOS and Android platforms, and we need a skilled professional to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. • Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts with a strong focus on manual testing for our mobile applications.
• Accurately describe testing processes, write specifications, and create detailed documentation for all testing activities.
• Identify, document, and track software defects to ensure they are resolved before release, ensuring the highest quality of the mobile applications.
• Gradually transition manual testing processes to automation, where feasible, while initially focusing on manual testing to address immediate needs.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability and quality concerns.
• While the focus is on mobile testing, occasionally perform manual testing on web applications, ensuring comprehensive coverage where automated tests may not apply.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a strong emphasis on manual testing, particularly in mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with the ability to write clear and detailed test cases and specifications.
• Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
