ML developer (Python)

We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Developer to join our forward-thinking startup. We are building an alternative marketplace from the ground up for iOS and Android platforms, and we need a skilled professional to take charge of our ML infrastructure and intelligent systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in an innovative environment where your expertise will directly shape user experience and platform efficiency.

• Design and implement machine learning pipelines to support key product features, including recommendation systems, fraud detection, and user behavior analysis.
• Build and maintain scalable ML infrastructure using Google Cloud tools and services.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, backend and mobile developers to integrate models into production and ensure smooth delivery.
• Monitor and evaluate model performance, retrain models as necessary, and continuously optimize accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest ML research and tools, and assess their applicability to our platform.

• Proven experience as an ML Engineer or Data Scientist, ideally in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python and popular ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience deploying ML models using cloud infrastructure (preferably Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD for ML workflows).
• Background in fintech, or experience working with sensitive data (billing, fraud detection, etc.) is a strong plus.
