People Operations Specialist

FJX Tech is a fast-growing technology enablement and consulting company, supporting global clients in building scalable digital products, modern engineering teams, and AI-first practices. With our newly launched Digital Delivery Hub in Málaga, we're shaping a collaborative environment for product and engineering excellence - and people are at the heart of how we do it. As we scale our international teams, we're looking for a People Operations Specialist to strengthen our people strategy from the ground up.

This is a people-first, high-impact role where you'll work closely with leadership and team members to build a strong culture, scalable HR processes, and a high-performance environment. If you thrive in fast-moving companies where your work genuinely shapes how things are done - this is the place.

What You'll Do

• Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes: onboarding, offboarding, contract management, and documentation
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with local labor law requirements
• Support payroll preparation in coordination with finance and external providers
• Serve as the go-to person for employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and day-to-day people matters
• Build and improve internal People Ops workflows, templates, and documentation as we scale
• Contribute to culture and employer branding initiatives at our Málaga hub

What We're Looking For

• 1.5–3 years of experience in an HR, People Ops, or related role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English - this is a must, as we operate in a global environment
• Spanish is a strong plus given our local presence in Málaga
• Experience with Factorial or similar HRIS platforms (BambooHR, Personio, etc.) is highly welcome
• Solid grasp of HR fundamentals: employment contracts, onboarding flows, leave management, and compliance basics
• Comfortable building processes in a scaling company where not everything is figured out yet
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and genuinely excited about making people's work experience better

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Spanish labor law basics
• Experience supporting international or multicultural teams
• Exposure to recruitment, L&D, or employer branding initiatives
