Product Manager - Vision Guide Foundation

Málaga, Spain - Hybrid · Fielmann
Apply

As (Senior) Product Manager for Vision Guide Foundation, you are responsible for the platform layer that enables Vision Guide to scale across countries and use cases.

Vision Guide Foundation provides the underlying services, integrations and architecture that power the in-store consultation experience. Your focus lies on building a robust, modular and internationally deployable platform — ensuring stability, scalability and seamless integration into Fielmann’s broader system landscape.

You work closely with engineering and global product teams to evolve Vision Guide into a reusable, service-based platform that supports multiple markets and future extensions.

This role is ideal for a Product Manager who enjoys working on platform products, system architecture and service enablement rather than primarily customer-facing frontend experiences.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities:

Core Product Management responsibilities:

  • Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for Vision Guide Foundation.
  • Prioritize platform capabilities and services based on scalability, maintainability and business impact.
  • Work closely with engineering to define clear requirements and architectural direction.
  • Define success metrics for platform stability, adoption and performance.
  • Communicate platform priorities and trade-offs clearly across product teams and stakeholders.

Vision Guide Foundation–specific responsibilities:

  • Develop Vision Guide into a modular, service-based platform that can be deployed across multiple countries.
  • Define and manage core services, APIs and integration points that enable Storefront and other dependent systems.
  • Ensure platform reliability, performance and scalability in complex retail environments.
  • Align closely with Storefront PM(s) to ensure clear separation of responsibilities and strong collaboration.
  • Drive standardization and reuse of components across markets to avoid local custom builds.
  • Ensure compliance with global architecture principles and integration standards.

Requirements

What you bring:

Must-have qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in a digital product environment.
  • Strong understanding of product management methodologies (discovery, prioritization, roadmapping, delivery).
  • Experience working in cross-functional, agile teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with KPIs and product metrics.
  • A mindset of AI-supported product work: you actively use modern tools to improve documentation, analysis and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English (German is a strong plus).

 Strong plus / Foundation-relevant experience:

  • Experience managing platform products, backend systems or service-oriented architectures
  • Solid understanding of APIs, system integrations, data flows and distributed system dependencies
  • Experience working in complex system landscapes (e.g. CRM, order systems, POS, backend services)
  • Experience building scalable products for multi-tenancy, multi-market or international rollouts.
  • Ability to navigate architectural discussions with engineering teams and solution architecture (development background not required).

Conditions

What You Get:

  • 📍 Based in Málaga (Hybrid - 40% on site) in a modern, high-quality workspace
  • 🕐 Permanent contract with flexible working hours (core time 10-16)
  • 💬 English-speaking team, flat structure, minimal meetings
  • 👓 Attractive employee benefits (e.g. free glasses or sunglasses)
  • 👨‍🏫 Mentorship & career growth
