QA engineer

We are looking for an experienced QA engineer to be a part of Malaga-based development team.

The main purpose of the team is to help us build and maintain a commerce platform for a big ophthalmic company.

• Ensure the quality and reliability of our storefront applications built on the Scayle Commerce Platform
• Develop automated test suites and perform manual testing where needed to verify features developed in collaboration with UX and PM teams
• Contribute to the optimization of the storefront performance through regression testing, load testing, and user experience testing
• Monitor and improve automated test coverage as part of our CI/CD processes to ensure the seamless deployment of high-quality software

Current tech stack: Scayle Commerce Engine, Scayle Storefront Core, Redis, AWS, Storyblok, Tailwind, Datadog, GitHub

• Proven experience in quality assurance, test automation, and software validation in the environment of commerce software
• Familiarity with customer-facing software and a commitment to ensuring the highest quality standards to improve the customer experience
• Deep understanding of test strategies for headless architectures and API-driven systems
• Experience working in collaborative, self-organized product teams with a strong focus on cross- functional cooperation
• A team player with excellent problem-solving skills, an independent and agile approach to work, and a strong commitment to quality
• Ideally strong interest and experienced in AI supported development

Testing tools & languages:

• Strong understanding of automated testing frameworks and tools like Cypress, Playwright, Sentry or else
• Experience with testing in environments using JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks such as Vue.js and Node.js.
• Familiarity with performance testing, load testing, and CI/CD tools is a plus
