QA engineer

We are seeking an experienced QA engineer to join our forward-thinking startup. We are building an alternative marketplace from the ground up for iOS and Android platforms, and we need a skilled professional. You will ensure the quality of both the web/ios application UI and server-side logic. You will be expected to actively interact with product, design and engineering teams to build a stable and quality product.

• Develop, maintain and execute test cases for:

  • Backend: endpoint logic, authorization scenarios, data validation
  • Frontend: functionality, layout (Figma, etc.), compliance with business logic in web and ios-application
• Regression, functional, integration testing.
• Working closely with development: clarifying requirements, discussing bugs, checking fixed tasks.
• Maintaining test documentation (test plans, checklists, test reports).

• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and QA's role in it.
• Experience in testing iOS and web applications.
• Strong knowledge in API testing (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
• UI verification skills on layout and UX requirements.
• Ability to work with bug tracking and test management systems (Jira + testmo or similar).
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Good communication skills, proactive, attention to detail.

• Would be a plus:

  • Experience writing autotests in Python.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Basic understanding of logs (backend, mobile), working with devtools, ios-simulator.
