FJX Group is hiring a Technical Operations Specialist to own the day-to-day technical operations across our group. This is a hands-on operational role supporting a team of fast-moving operators across recruitment, advisory, e-commerce, and technology services.

You'll be the go-to person for everything that keeps the business running smoothly on the IT side - from user accounts and access management to configuring SaaS platforms, supporting internal tooling needs, and keeping our website current.

This role reports to the CTO and works closely with all vertical leads.

Responsibilities

Internal IT Operations

  • Manage user accounts, access permissions, and on/offboarding across all company SaaS tools (Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, etc.)
  • Maintain license management and tool inventory
  • Work with group security policies, access controls, and AI usage guidelines
  • Provide first-line support for the team's technical issues
  • Onboard new employees on company tools and systems

Internal Tooling & Configuration

  • Work with vertical leads to understand their operational tooling needs
  • Evaluate and recommend SaaS solutions (CRM, project management, HR systems, etc.)
  • Configure and customize tools — Notion workspaces, CRM, dashboards, automations
  • Build and maintain internal templates, workflows, and process documentation
  • Train team members on how to use new tools effectively

Website & Content Operations

  • Manage day-to-day operations of our sites
  • Work with content team on publishing the content and rolling out new pages
  • Monitor site performance and uptime
  • Implement updates, fixes, and minor design changes

Vendor & Process Coordination

  • Coordinate with external technical vendors (when applicable)
  • Maintain documentation of internal processes and technical decisions

Requirements

Required

  • 2-4 years of experience in IT operations, business systems administration, or similar role
  • Hands-on proficiency with major SaaS tools - Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, CRMs
  • Comfortable with Webflow or similar no-code website platforms
  • Experience implementing and configuring SaaS platforms for non-technical users
  • Strong communication skills — you'll be talking to non-technical vertical leads daily
  • Fluent English (working language); Spanish helpful
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven mindset
  • Familiarity with AI tools (Claude stack or similar)

Nice to Have

  • Experience at a startup, scale-up, or holding company with multiple business units
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n)
  • Basic understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements
  • Experience with Google Cloud, AWS, or similar cloud platforms (basic admin level)
  • Background in business systems analysis or technical project coordination

What You're Not

This is not an engineering role. You won't be writing custom software or building products from scratch. If a vertical needs something built, you'll help to scope it and evaluate buy-vs-build.
